The sequel to another project we did for the CSIRO. A recruitment video for CSIRO Earth, Science and Resource Engineering in Perth, Western Australia. Research suggested that this was because some had an image of CSIRO that did not match the reality. Because of the success of the previous project, CSIRO decided to produce another short (one and a half minute) light-hearted video that could be lodged on YouTube and linked to from recruitment advertising. The intention was to have young engineers working for CSIRO explaining how and why they enjoyed their work.
The client advises that recruitment advertising generated more applications and the video was circulated throughout CSIRO as an exemplar of how to attract young, enthusiastic engineers and researchers.
The result exceeded expectations and Ipermedia’s understanding of the target audience was obvious.
